Natural Bamboo Wind Chime – Black Buddha, 6 Tubes

About this piece

A black Buddha sits at the top of this bamboo wind chime, with six tubes in a natural finish hanging beneath. The dark figure against the pale bamboo is graphic and calm, and the sound is hollow and gentle.

Handcrafted in Indonesia from sustainable bamboo, it brings a feeling of tranquillity to the spaces it hangs in. The Buddha is a symbol of peace and presence in many Asian traditions, which makes it a lovely gift for a quiet soul or a first home. Each tube is natural bamboo, so the colour and grain vary a little from one chime to the next.

Hang it in a garden, on a terrace or by an open window where breezes can reach it. It works as well indoors as out. It also looks lovely in a hallway, hung beside a pot of ferns or a lantern.
