About this piece
A small bowl made from recycled beer bottle glass on a wooden base, rounded and bubbly with the tint of the bottle it once was. It feels small and snug, perfect for holding a handful of treasures.
The craft gives new life to old bottles by melting the glass into a bowl shape, then pairing it with warm wood. It is a sweet gift for a friend who loves recycled things or a small present for a housewarming. The glass picks up daylight beautifully, so a windowsill or sunny shelf is a flattering spot.
Keep rings, crystals or a cutting in it, or set it on a desk for paperclips. Wipe the glass with a soft damp cloth and keep the wood dry. Tones vary from bowl to bowl.
