About this piece
A broad fan shape in black seagrass and rattan spreads across the wall, its woven rows catching light and shadow like the feathers of a tropical bird. The deep black gives it a graphic, modern edge, softened by the natural texture.
Fans have been woven from grasses and palm in Indonesia for generations, and this one was crafted by skilled artisans there. It suits boho and eclectic homes, and works as a striking gift for a friend who loves natural materials, a boho-themed wedding or a new bedroom.
Hang it above a bed, a fireplace or a console, or mix it with mirrors and framed prints on a gallery wall. The black weave also looks good against pale or sage-green walls.
