See No, Hear No, Speak No Evil Brass Monkeys – Set of 3
About this piece
Three little brass monkeys, one covering its eyes, one its ears and one its mouth: the classic see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil trio. Their warm, golden gleam and cheeky expressions make them a joy to display.
This old proverb, long associated with Eastern tradition, is a gentle reminder to turn away from unkind words, thoughts and deeds. Each monkey is handmade in brass, and their neutral metallic tones sit happily with any décor. They make a thoughtful gift for a new home, a peaceful workspace or anyone who appreciates a little wisdom on the windowsill.
Line them up on a mantel, bookcase or desk, or place them on your altar as a quiet prompt to guard your words. They also look lovely in a spa-like bathroom beside candles and a small plant.
