Selenite Heart Candle Holder

About this piece

A heart carved from selenite, pale and translucent, glowing softly when a candle is lit. It is a heart-shaped selenite holder, 9cm wide, 8cm long and 5cm high.

Selenite is a translucent crystal, so the flame flickers slightly through the walls of the holder. In crystal lore it is linked with purity and honesty, and with the third eye, crown and etheric chakras. The heart makes it a loving gift for an anniversary, Valentine's Day, or a friend who deserves a little tenderness. Edges are rough, as is natural to selenite, and the top is polished while the underside is cut flat.

Place a tealight inside, light it and set the holder on a stable, heat-safe surface. Selenite is sensitive to water, so keep it dry. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
