About this piece
The spreading branches of a Bodhi tree fill this single cotton bedspread and wall hanging, with fine detail in the design. It has the stillness of a forest clearing.
The Bodhi tree is the tree beneath which the Buddha is said to have reached enlightenment, so it is a symbol of awakening and peace across Buddhist tradition. It is a lovely gift for a meditator, a new home or someone beginning a quiet new chapter. Each piece is made by hand in India, so small variations in the print are part of its charm.
Drape it across a sofa as a throw, hang it behind a bed as a headboard backdrop or pin it flat on a wall as a large piece of art.
