About this piece
A sun flower is carved into this small soapstone disc, its petals radiating outwards like rays. It holds five incense sticks at once, so a single holder can fill a room, and at just 35g it is easy to move about the home.
Sun and flower together make an uplifting design, associated with warmth, growth and cheer. Soapstone is a soft stone with a long carving tradition, and each disc varies a little. It is a sweet gift for a friend who loves to burn plenty of fragrance, or for a bright corner that could use a spot of sunshine.
Never leave burning incense unattended. When cool, wipe away the ash with a soft dry cloth.
