Each of these burners is hand carved in Jogja, Java, where stone Buddha carving is a local craft, then finished with glass and sandstone. It is a tasteful gift for a housewarming, an anniversary or anyone who appreciates well-made things. Add a pack of wax melts or a bottle of essential oil to complete it.
Place the burner on a heatproof surface, pour a little water into the bowl with a few drops of fragrance oil, and light a tealight below. Settle in and let the aroma build slowly. Never leave the flame unattended, and let the stone cool before you move it.
