The tea tree is native to the north-east coast of New South Wales, and the Aboriginal people of eastern Australia have used its crushed leaves for hundreds of years; its name is said to come from early settlers brewing the leaves as tea. Today it is used in many personal care products. A practical staple for every household and a great starter oil.

Add a few drops to a diffuser or a bowl of steaming water, or dilute in a carrier oil or your favourite cleanser. Dilute before use on skin. Never take internally, keep away from children and pets, and avoid during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Never leave a lit burner unattended.
