Vetiver, also called khus, is a clumping grass native to India that can grow five feet tall or more, and its fragrant roots have been woven into mats and screens to cool and scent homes in the summer heat. It is often called the oil of tranquillity, and many people use it to feel grounded and calm. A treasure for natural perfumers and lovers of earthy scents.
