Wintergreen Essential Oil is sweet, minty and refreshing, with a bright, cool aroma you may recognise from old-fashioned sweets and chewing gum. Steam distilled from the leaves of a creeping wintergreen shrub and sourced from China, this 10ml bottle is uplifting and stimulating when diffused.

Wintergreen and birch are the only plants in the world that naturally contain methyl salicylate, the compound behind wintergreen's distinctive scent, and it is widely used in topical creams and massage blends. The low-growing shrub thrives on coniferous forest floors, keeping its glossy leaves green through the snow. A distinctive oil for experienced blenders.

Use only a drop or two in a diffuser or burner, or well diluted in a carrier oil or massage blend; dilute before use on skin. Avoid during pregnancy, keep away from children and do not use if you are sensitive to aspirin. Never take internally. Never leave a lit burner unattended.
