About this piece
Apricot kernel oil is a clear, pale yellow oil that is virtually odourless and wonderfully light, absorbing even faster than jojoba or argan. It is a gentle, easy-going base for homemade skincare and massage blends.
The apricot was brought to Europe from the Middle East by the Romans and is now grown widely in warmer countries. This oil is cold pressed in Spain from the kernels. It is a popular choice for diluting essential oils, and this smaller 50ml bottle is perfect for trying it out or keeping in a travel kit.
Smooth a little onto skin as a light oil, or blend a few drops of essential oil into it for a personal massage blend. Patch test before first use. Store in a cool, dark place and use within one year.
