About this piece
Avocado oil is a rich, pale yellow to light green oil with a very mild scent and a smooth, silky texture. It is a nourishing-feeling base that suits drier skin blends and luxurious massage oils.
Our avocado oil is cold pressed in South Africa, one of the world's major avocado producers. Avocados are native to Mexico, where the Aztecs are said to have spread the fruit on their skin. The oil is naturally rich in fatty acids and is a popular base for lotions, face masks, bath oils and aromatherapy blends.
Blend a few drops of essential oil into avocado oil for a massage, or add a spoonful to a warm bath. Patch test before first use. Store in a cool, dark place and use within one year.
