Backflow Incense Burner – Tropical Fish

About this piece

A whimsical tropical fish glides through a ceramic burner, with smoke flowing past like a stream of bubbles. It is a joyful, imaginative piece.

Fish are linked with abundance and good fortune in many traditions, and this one brings a bit of ocean to a shelf. It makes a fun gift for an aquarium lover, a snorkeller or someone who adores colourful homeware.

Light the tip of a backflow cone, let the flame go out, and rest the cone in place. The smoke is heavier than air and flows down in soft swirls, a quiet pleasure for a desk, shelf or bedside table. Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep a small dish nearby for spent cones, and enjoy the slow rhythm of the smoke.
