About this piece
The sacred Om symbol is carved into an 8cm disc of soapstone, smooth to the touch and pleasingly weighty at 113g. The carving is crisp, and the stone's natural pattern adds a gentle character to the surface.
Om is the sound traditionally spoken at the opening of meditation and yoga, and many people keep the symbol close as a reminder to pause. Soapstone is celebrated for its natural beauty and durability, and it is traditionally associated with spirituality. A good gift for a yoga teacher or a new meditator.
Never leave burning incense unattended. When cool, wipe away the ash with a soft dry cloth.
