About this piece
A solid brass door knocker shaped like an elephant's head, weighing about 230g. It has the weight and shine of a classic piece and will make a welcome statement on a front door.
Brass door knockers age beautifully, taking on a softer character over time, and the elephant is a long-loved symbol of strength and good fortune. It makes a charming gift for a new home. Sizes may vary slightly, and the knocker is supplied without screw fittings, so you will need to pick up your own.
Fix it to a sturdy door with screws of your choice, at a height that suits you, and polish occasionally if you want to keep the shine. Left alone, it will mellow naturally.
