Brass Miniature Ganesha – 30mm, 12g
About this piece
A tiny brass Ganesha, 30mm tall and only 12g, seated on a lotus and finely detailed from crown to base. Solid and handcrafted in India, it fits in a pocket or the palm of your hand.
Ganesha is honoured in Hindu tradition as the remover of obstacles and the lord of beginnings, and the lotus beneath him stands for prosperity and new starts. This miniature is a lovely gift for anyone starting a new chapter, a new job or a new home, and it is small enough to slip into a card box.
Place Ganesha near the entrance to your home, on your desk or on a small altar, and greet him at the start of a new project or a new day. Many people keep a figure like this at the threshold or beside their workspace, where it is easy to notice. A soft cloth will keep the brass shining, and a little incense beside it makes a pretty ritual.
