Brass Verdigris Tibetan Turtle Incense Holder – Large

About this piece

A majestic turtle in brass, finished in aged verdigris, sits low and steady on the shelf. At 510g it has a satisfying weight, and the patina gives it the look of an heirloom.

The turtle is a symbol of longevity and wisdom in many cultures, and this large holder is handcrafted in India. It is a fine gift for a new home, a birthday or a friend who loves animals and old-world design. It looks wonderful with a few polished stones or a small candle beside it, and the green-tinged finish deepens beautifully against dark wood.

Set it on a flat, stable surface and use it to hold your favourite incense. Never leave burning incense unattended, and keep it on a heatproof surface. It sits best on a shelf or altar where it is rarely knocked.
