Chakra Singing Bowl – Heart
About this piece
A brass heart chakra singing bowl, the colour of green, made to ring when you circle its rim with the wood stick. Small and weighty in the hand, it has a clear, resonant voice that fills a room.
In yogic tradition the heart chakra sits at the centre of the chest and is linked with love, compassion and universal oneness. Its colour is green, and its stones are said to be peridot, rose quartz and malachite. Associated energies include water, calm and gentleness. It is a lovely gift for a meditator or yoga lover, bringing a little extra inner calm to a daily routine.
Rest it on your palm or a cushion, then use the wood stick to tap it, or circle the rim slowly to make the bowl sing. It takes a little practice to master, but the sound is worth it. Keep it on an altar or shelf in between.
