Clove Leaf Essential Oil in a 50ml bottle, for blenders who love its warm, intense, spicy character and want plenty to hand. Steam distilled from the leaves of Eugenia caryophyllata, it smells of mulled wine, pomanders and the comfort of a winter kitchen.
Cloves have a long, storied history: used in ancient India and China and among the first spices ever to travel the world, they were introduced to Europe by Arab merchants in Roman times. This larger size is ideal for candle and soap makers, or anyone making festive blends in quantity. It pairs well with sweet orange, cinnamon and frankincense.
Use very sparingly in a burner or diffuser, ideally alongside softer oils, as clove is potent. Dilute well before use on skin and use with care. Keep out of reach of children and avoid during pregnancy. Never leave a lit burner unattended.
