Coconut Leaf Wind Chime – Whitewash
About this piece
Pale whitewashed coconut leaf hangs in layers from this wind chime, with metal elements that move in the breeze. The finish is light, driftwood-like and airy, like sun-bleached shells.
Made from coconut leaf and metal, it adds natural texture and a gentle sound to a covered porch or a bright room. It is a lovely present for a coastal home or a friend who prefers soft colours. It is the kind of piece that sits easily among wicker, rattan and plants, and softens a plain wall or ceiling beam. Because coconut leaf is a natural material, each chime varies a little in shape and shade.
Hang it by a window, on a porch or in a quiet corner, where it can drift and chime softly. Bring it indoors during harsh weather so the leaf keeps its colour. It also makes a good gift for a friend who loves coastal style or natural materials.
