Felt Ball Oval Centre Mat – Multi Grey
About this piece
An oval centre mat made from dozens of soft wool felt balls in shades of grey, each one stitched together into a cosy, bobbly surface. It is calm, tactile and quietly beautiful, the kind of piece you find yourself running your fingers across.
Felted wool has been made for thousands of years and has a lovely warmth and texture. The multi-grey palette suits modern, Scandi and minimalist homes and pairs beautifully with white, oak and greenery. It makes a thoughtful gift for a new home or anyone who loves natural, handcrafted textures.
Place it in the centre of a dining or coffee table under a bowl of fruit, a vase or a candle plate, never leaving a flame unattended. It is also lovely on a sideboard or altar as a soft base for crystals and ornaments.
