Glass Jar Candle – Drawn by Flame, Tall
About this piece
Drawn by Flame is a tall glass candle wrapped in fine illustration: detailed florals and delicately drawn birds curve around the jar. Unlit it looks like a piece of folk art, and once the flame is lit the artwork seems to come softly to life.
The design is nature-inspired and a little storybook in feel, which makes it a thoughtful present for a bird lover, a gardener or anyone who enjoys pretty things on their shelves. It has the presence of an ornament as well as a candle.
Place it where the glass can show off its detail, such as a mantelpiece, side table or the end of a hallway, and light it for dinners and quiet evenings. Because the jar is tall and heavy, set it on a flat, heat-safe surface, keep it away from draughts, and never leave a burning candle unattended.
