Selenite Yin Yang Candle Holder

About this piece

A yin yang symbol carved from selenite, balanced in shape and softly luminous when lit. It is a yin yang selenite holder, 10cm wide, 8cm long and 4cm high.

Selenite is a translucent crystal, so the flame flickers slightly through the walls of the holder. In crystal lore it is linked with purity and honesty, and with the third eye, crown and etheric chakras. The yin yang stands for balance, so it suits someone who appreciates harmony, and makes a thoughtful gift for a yoga lover. Edges are rough, as is natural to selenite, and the top is polished while the underside is cut flat.

Place a tealight inside, light it and set the holder on a stable, heat-safe surface. Selenite is sensitive to water, so keep it dry. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
