About this piece
A driftwood cross carries strands of green and purple, with capiz shell clicking quietly together beneath. The cross form gives it a balanced, symmetrical look, and the colours make it feel enchanted.
Hand made by small family businesses in Bali from beach source materials such as driftwood and capiz, it makes a gentle, enjoyable sound when it sways. Many people believe wind chimes protect the surroundings from negative energy, so it is a meaningful gift for a housewarming. Because the materials are natural, each chime differs slightly in shape and shade.
Hang it by a window, in a hallway or on a covered porch, where a breeze can set it chiming. It looks lovely against a plain wall, where the colours can stand out.
