Hand Beaten Engraved Singing Bowl Gift Set – Lotus Flower, 14cm
About this piece
A hand beaten brass singing bowl, 14cm across, engraved with lotus flowers, drawn in fine, delicate lines. It arrives as a complete set with its own mallet, cushion and pouch, so everything you need to begin is in the one gift.
In Buddhism the lotus rises from murky water to bloom clean at the surface, a long-loved image of purity and awakening. Meditating beside a lotus bowl is a gentle reminder that calm can grow from even the muddiest day. It is a lovely present for a meditation beginner, a yoga lover or anyone who deserves a calm moment of their own.
Settle the bowl on the cushion, tap the rim gently with the mallet and listen as the note unfolds. It suits an evening practice, when you want to let the day settle before sleep. The pouch keeps everything together when the bowl is not in use.
