About this piece
A large elephant head carved from albasia wood in gold and whitewash, weighing 800g. It stands as a symbol of wisdom, courage and strength, with a light, airy finish.
Albasia is a fast-growing, sustainable tree abundant in Southeast Asia. The ornamental elephants are believed to bring good fortune, and each has handmade variations in colour, design and dimensions. A perfect gift for an elephant lover.
Mount it on a wall or stand it on a sideboard, where its tusks and trunk can be seen. It looks lovely above a mantelpiece, in a hallway or in a living room with plants and warm lamps, and it makes an easy talking point for visitors. Dust gently with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from damp.
