Neem Carrier Oil is a rich, very thick oil ranging from golden yellow to dark brown, with a strong, earthy, garlicky-nutty aroma that tells you it means business. Cold pressed in India from the neem tree, Azadirachta indica, this 100ml bottle is best used in small amounts within blends.
The neem tree is native to India, where it has been revered in Ayurvedic tradition for thousands of years and is sometimes called the village pharmacy. Its oil is high in fatty acids and nutrients and is often used in creams, body lotions and hair products, especially for dry skin and hair. A useful, characterful oil for experienced natural skincare and haircare makers.
Blend a small amount into a lighter carrier oil, such as grapeseed or coconut, before use, and add essential oils to soften its strong aroma. It can solidify in cold weather, so stand the bottle in warm water to loosen. Patch test first. Not for internal use; keep out of reach of children.
