About this piece
A compact soapstone burner, 8cm high, carved with the Om symbol. Its simple, bold carving gives a quiet spiritual note to a desk, shelf or altar.
Om is the sacred sound at the root of many Eastern traditions, often chanted at the start of meditation. This small burner suits yoga corners and prayer spaces. It makes a meaningful gift for a meditator or for a friend who loves symbols of peace.
Place the burner on a heatproof surface, pour a little water into the bowl with a few drops of fragrance oil, and light a tealight below. Settle in and let the aroma build slowly. Never leave the flame unattended, and let the stone cool before you move it.
