Oregano Essential Oil is herbaceous, sharp, green and camphoraceous, a bold, powerful scent with all the intensity of wild oregano baking on a Spanish hillside. Steam distilled from the leaves and flowers of Origanum vulgare, this 10ml bottle is one for experienced users.

Oregano has been used for centuries in traditional practice, and in folklore the herb was associated with joy; the Greeks and Romans crowned newlyweds with it. Its high phenol content makes it one of the most potent essential oils there is, so a little goes a very long way. A characterful addition to an experienced blender's collection.

Only one to two drops are needed in a diffuser, and take care when inhaling. Always dilute well with a carrier oil before use on skin, and keep away from eyes and mucous membranes. Avoid during pregnancy and keep out of reach of children. Never leave a lit burner unattended.
