Parsley Essential Oil has a fresh, green, herbaceous aroma with a warm, slightly spicy edge, the clean smell of a garden herb bed after rain. Steam distilled from the seed and herb of Petroselinum crispum in France, this 50ml bottle is an unusual, characterful oil.

Parsley carries plenty of folklore: the ancient Greeks wove it into victors' crowns and funeral wreaths, and an old English saying claimed parsley seed travels to the devil and back seven times before it sprouts. In aromatherapy it is a specialist oil, used in small amounts to add a green, savoury note. A fascinating addition for herbalists and experienced blenders.

Use only a drop in a diffuser or burner, blended with citrus or lavender, or add a little to a carrier oil. Dilute well before use on skin. Avoid during pregnancy and keep out of reach of children. Never leave a lit burner unattended.
