Polished Aluminium Om Round Incense Holder – 11cm

About this piece

A round, reflective dish of polished aluminium, bearing the sacred Om symbol and measuring 11cm across. Handcrafted by artisans in India, it is a stable little base for sticks and cones, with a shine that lifts a bedside table.

Om is the sound traditionally chanted at the beginning and end of meditation and yoga, and seeing it on your holder is a gentle cue to breathe and settle. The round shape gives cones a steady place to burn, so it is a good all-rounder for a friend new to incense.

Place a stick in the centre, or rest a cone on its surface, light and let it smoulder. Keep the holder on a heat-resistant surface. Never leave burning incense unattended. When cool, wipe away ash with a soft cloth.
