About this piece
Small leaves in every colour of the rainbow dangle from a length of driftwood in this light, cheerful chime. Hand made by small family businesses in Bali, it brings a touch of beach colour into a room.
Capiz shell makes a pleasant clicking sound as it moves in the breeze, and the lightness of this chime, at just 150g, means it moves easily. Many people believe wind chimes protect their surroundings from negative energy. It is an easy gift for a friend's birthday, a nursery or a room that needs brightening.
It arrives ready to display. Hang it by a window or in a hallway, where a draught can move it, and keep it out of heavy weather. It pairs well with a few plants on a sunny sill, or a shelf of shells and sea glass.
