Scented Glass Jar Candle – Lavender

About this piece

Lavender is the scent of linen cupboards and cottage gardens, here in a simple scented glass jar candle with a soft, herbal sweetness. It lights up the room with a calm, steady glow.

Lavender is traditionally associated with calm and bedtime in British folklore, and it suits a bedside table well. A perfumed paraffin wax candle in a glass jar is an easy, friendly gift, and this size slips neatly into a card or stocking.

Light it in a bedroom, and let the first burn melt the top evenly so the candle burns cleanly to the end. Trim the wick before each use, and snuff the flame rather than blowing it out hard. It is small enough to move from room to room as the day goes on. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from children, pets and anything flammable.
