About this piece
A large 40cm shaman drum with a tunable head and a drum stick, made for powerful rhythm and deep resonance. Its big surface gives rich, grounding tones, and its name calls up fire, myth and old stories.
Dragons have long stood for strength, wisdom and guardianship in folklore, and a drum named for the dragon is a fitting companion for ceremonies, meditation and drumming circles. A bold gift for a drummer, a spiritual practitioner or a lover of myth.
Hold the frame in one hand and strike the head with the stick in a slow, steady beat, adjusting the tension to find the tone you love. Keep it dry and away from radiators, and out of direct sun.
