Stone Oil Burner – Combo Lantern
About this piece
A lantern-style sandstone burner that combines carved stone with glass, the candle glowing from inside like a small garden lantern. It is a lighter, more compact piece in the range.
Stone carving has a long home in Jogja, Java, and this burner comes from artisans working there by hand. The mixture of sandstone and glass gives it a premium, hotel-lobby feel that suits a quiet bathroom or a favourite reading corner. Pair it with wax melts or essential oils and it becomes a lovely, considered present.
Place the burner on a heatproof surface, pour a little water into the bowl with a few drops of fragrance oil, and light a tealight below. Settle in and let the aroma build slowly. Never leave the flame unattended, and let the stone cool before you move it.
