Ylang ylang means flower of flowers in Malay, and in Indonesia its blossoms are traditionally strewn on the marriage bed of newlyweds. It is highly favoured in perfumery, and in aromatherapy it is considered one of the best oils for relaxing mind and body, lovely in a bath or massage oil. A romantic gift for a couple or anyone who loves rich florals.
Use sparingly, as high concentrations can feel overpowering: a drop or two in a diffuser, bath blend or massage oil is plenty. Dilute before use on skin. Keep out of reach of children. Never leave a lit burner unattended.
