Aluminium Enamel Incense Bowl – Purple Sun & Moon Phases

About this piece

Rich purple tones frame the moon phases and a sun and moon design on this aluminium enamel incense bowl. It has a magical, full-of-character look. The artwork rewards a closer look, with fine details that catch the light.

The phases of the moon have long marked the rhythm of folk traditions and rituals, and purple is the colour many associate with intuition. It is an ideal gift for a moon lover or a friend who keeps a lunar journal. A lovely small gift for Christmas, a housewarming or a thank-you.

Add a shallow layer of sand or ash to the bowl, rest an incense stick or cone in it, and light it. The bowl catches the ash neatly. Never leave burning incense unattended, and use it on a heatproof surface. It is also lovely as a decorative piece when no incense is burning.
