Backflow Incense Burner – Money Cat Tube
About this piece
A ceramic money cat, waving from its place beside a clear tube, makes this backflow burner both charming and a bit magical. The smoke flows from the cone down the tube and pools below.
The money cat, or maneki-neko, is a traditional symbol of wealth and good luck, often placed near shop and office entrances. It is a cheerful gift for a new business owner, a housewarming or a friend who loves cats.
Light a backflow cone, let it smoulder, and sit back as the smoke begins to flow. Keep it on a steady, heatproof surface, and never leave burning incense unattended. Extinguish the cone fully before leaving the room. Try it with sandalwood or lavender cones for a softer mood, or frankincense for something deeper.
