Elephant Long Tibetan Incense Holder

About this piece

A long Tibetan incense holder with a majestic elephant figurine at the centre, built from tiny ceramic pieces in a patchwork of colour. It looks almost like a mosaic, and each one is slightly different.

In Tibetan culture, elephants are revered for their strength, wisdom and ability to bring good luck. It is a lovely gift for a friend drawn to exotic cultures, or anyone who appreciates handcrafted beauty and a touch of serenity. The colours and patterns of the ceramic pieces mean no two are quite the same, so yours will be a little one of a kind.

Place an incense stick in the holder, light it and set it on a flat surface. Never leave burning incense unattended, and keep it on a heatproof surface. Its long shape suits a narrow shelf or windowsill.
