About this piece
A brass navel chakra singing bowl, the colour of orange, made to ring when you circle its rim with the wood stick. Small and weighty in the hand, it has a clear, resonant voice that fills a room.
In yogic tradition the navel chakra sits at below the navel and is linked with desire and pleasure. Its colour is orange, and its stones are said to be coral and carnelian. Associated energies include fire and energy. It is a lovely gift for a meditator or yoga lover, bringing a little extra inner calm to a daily routine.
Rest it on your palm or a cushion, then use the wood stick to tap it, or circle the rim slowly to make the bowl sing. It takes a little practice to master, but the sound is worth it. Keep it on an altar or shelf in between.
