About this piece
A great Bodhi tree spreads its branches over a double-size cotton cloth, heart-shaped leaves picked out in rich colour. It feels calm and generous, like sitting in the shade of an old tree.
The Bodhi tree is where the Buddha is said to have found enlightenment, and it stands for awakening and quiet reflection. It makes a meaningful gift for a meditator, a new home or someone beginning a fresh chapter. It is a generous housewarming gift and a lovely way to refresh a room for a birthday.
Hang it behind a bed as an instant headboard feature, or lay it over a sofa to hide worn upholstery. It also makes a generous cloth for a picnic or a beach day.
