About this piece
A small dreamcatcher inspired by the temple umbrellas of Bali, known as payung, measuring 22x56cm in soft pastel rainbow shades. It drops about 42cm without the handle, or 52cm with it, and the pastel tones feel gentle and airy.
In Bali each temple has its own umbrella to trap evil spirits and attract good ones, and the style changes with each ceremony. This dreamcatcher borrows that idea, taking the humble bedroom charm to the next level, carefully crafted by artisans in Indonesia. A sweet, soft gift for a nursery or a young dreamer.
The best place to hang it is by the window or on the bedroom wall, with the handle on a hook. Let it hang freely so the fringe can move, and keep it away from damp.
