Elephant Square Soapstone Oil Burner – 10 x 7.5cm
About this piece
A square soapstone burner, 10cm by 7.5cm, with elephants carved on all four sides. Sturdy little legs lift it from the surface, and the earthy tones of the stone give it a rustic, artisanal look.
Elephants symbolise strength and wisdom, and in this piece they circle the burner like a small procession. Made in India from natural soapstone, it suits a home or meditation space and works with essential oils and wax melts. It makes a lovely gift for a friend who treasures handmade-feeling things.
Add water and a few drops of your favourite fragrance oil to the top bowl, then light a tealight beneath and stand the burner on a heatproof mat. As the water gently warms, the scent fills the room. Never leave a lit burner unattended and keep it away from curtains and children.
