About this piece

Selenite takes its name from Selene, the Greek moon goddess, and is traditionally believed to cleanse and recharge crystals placed on it. This medium plate is just the right size for a bedside table, dressing table or small altar, and makes a lovely first piece for anyone starting a crystal collection.
Rest your tumble stones or jewellery on the plate overnight, especially under a full moon. Keep it dry, as selenite is soft and dissolves in water, and dust it gently with a soft dry cloth. Each natural piece varies slightly in pattern.
