Selenite Snowball Candle Holder – 8cm

About this piece

Round, white and soft-looking, this selenite holder looks like a snowball with a flame in its heart. It is a rounded selenite holder like a snowball, 9cm across and 8cm high.

Selenite is a translucent crystal, so the flame flickers slightly through the walls of the holder. In crystal lore it is linked with purity and honesty, and with the third eye, crown and etheric chakras. The snowball shape feels soft and wintery, a lovely winter gift or a bright piece for a solstice altar. Edges are rough, as is natural to selenite, and the top is polished while the underside is cut flat.

Place a tealight inside, light it and set the holder on a stable, heat-safe surface. Selenite is sensitive to water, so keep it dry. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
