Whitewashed Mango Wood Incense Smoke Box

About this piece

A box of white washed mango wood, its pale finish warm and chalky, with openings through which the smoke from a burning cone drifts in soft ribbons. At 275g it sits firmly, a quiet fixture on a table or windowsill.

A smoke box gathers the fragrance and releases it slowly, so a single cone seems to last longer in the senses. The light finish suits natural, coastal and minimalist interiors, and it makes a pleasing present for a housewarming or a friend who loves understated decor.

Place a cone inside, light it, blow out the flame and close the box. Keep it on a heat-resistant surface. Never leave burning incense unattended, and keep it on a heat-resistant surface. Empty the cooled ash after use.
