Selenite Spiral Wand – Round Both Ends, 16cm
About this piece
A slim wand of white selenite, 16cm long, with a gentle spiral twist and softly rounded ends. It is cool and smooth in the hand and glows faintly when the light catches the crystal.
Selenite takes its name from Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon, and it is easy to see why: the milky crystal fibres catch and soften the light with a lunar glow. In crystal lore it is linked with the third eye and crown, and some say it encourages purity and honesty. Wands are traditionally used to sweep gently around a space or a stone as part of a ritual, so this is a good first tool for anyone beginning to practise.
Hold it while you meditate, glide it slowly through the air around your altar, or lay it across a few crystals as part of your evening routine. It also looks lovely on an LED light block. Selenite is soft and dissolves in water, so keep it dry and dust it gently with a cloth.
