About this piece
A hand-carved wooden kitten, curled and content, keeping your door open with gentle charm. The smooth wood invites a stroke as you pass, just like the real thing.
Each doorstop is individually hand-carved by skilled artisans in Bali from Jempinis, a sustainably managed Indonesian hardwood, so every kitten is a little different. Cats have long been the companions of cottage witches and wise women, and this one brings the same homely feeling to your threshold. A lovely gift for cat lovers, a new home or a cosy country kitchen.
Place it against an internal door to keep air flowing on warm days, or let it sit by the hearth or on a bookshelf as a sweet decoration. It pairs beautifully with the carved dormouse and gecko.
